Evil Dragon On The German Tv

@ god at hell/Satan Claus

Thanks for hosting my files... :)

Hi,
First of all congrats for your show!! :D
i think, It would have been good if you would have been able(i don't if it's english! ) to show more emus, like GP2xEngine, Gnegeo or Outcast which are quite good too. (ok Gngeo is in my heart :p ).
May be you talked about them ,but i don't understand German.

At least thanks to you and Giga for this promo which may be will attract more people and may be more devs.

bye

Herc.

I am surprised the furum isn't swamped with newbz asking if it can emulate a PS2 yet. Maybe it is the language barrier.

Cool show though. I wish I could have understood it. I like your joystick cap that you had on during the show :p

Nah, there's a German language forum so they'll have to deal with that, not us. ;)

You did well there, ED.

However, If i would have been you, I would have felt the urge to punch the white towel into his face. you know, the one who ran around and sucked at playing DoA4.

EDIT: and the camera guy. They rarely showed the screens while you played :(

Dave C, the German 'noob' tends to be a bit brighter...

Ich keine sprechen sie Deutsch :(

Good work superstar! Inspired me to use my GP2X for more than King of Fighters and DrMD!

Just a quick addition:

That PayBack was just a quick 3D demo, I meant it MIGHT be a cool commercial game for the gp2x, sorry for the confusion.

I just got this demo sent in by someone, as you could see, there's no missions or anything similar, you can just move around.

But who knows, maybe a company has seen the show and will do this :)

I just thought it would be nice to show :)

Sorry ED, but I am a bit confused now.

I checked the show again and you said: "Das wird eines der ersten kommerziellen Spiele für das Gerät werden" ("this will be one of the first commercial games for the gp2x"). And then there was the guy from GIGA saying "es wird also kommerzielle Spiele geben, wie z.B. Payback" (there will be commercial games for the gp2x such as Payback).

Come on ED. You did not seem to have a long nose in the show. Are you lying in this thread?

is it me ...or is this community growing fast
Most of the people I just saw on this thread have been here since the GP32 daze.

@chaos engineer
If I understand it correctly it's just a demo with the graphics of Payback. The Engine will be expectly used for a commercial game. And there will be commercial games like ("wie") Payback.

watch it again. There is absolutely no doubt that Payback was presented as one of the forthcoming gp2x commercial games. Come on ED, tell us, can we look forward to have Payback on the GP2X? Is this a business secret?

Are there any other German speaking people on this board? If yes. check the 3 part from 5min 30 sec on.

is it just me or did the host talk about "marty mcfly" at some point? or am i just hearing what i want to hear?

He does, but it's a nick. Someone asked a question and called himself "Marty McFly".

By the way, I really liked the presentation.... I am thinking about "upgrading" too, but I'll probably wait until the end of May. I never know what to ask for for my birthday and my parents would probably be glad if I actually wanted something ;)

OMG OMG, PAYBACK!!!!!!

Yeah, I don't no wether to take the credit for emailing apex-designs first, but I really want to. I felt I started the idea of putting it on the system *feels all happy inside*

I will with out a doubt buy payback when /if (I don't even want to say that) without a doubt. With the much faster processor, more buttons, better brighter and higher res screen this game will really rock.

Is it just me or in the 2nd and 3rd videos does everyone sound like the green giant
It might be. Try to use another player/codec. It seems, that there are some flaws in the DVD program stream, my correction program could not find. :( So some player/codecs will mess up the sound. I tried to fix it, but time was running out. On the german forum there are some other people who hosts their videos.
Regards,
Stephan

So is that a show or a channel in Germany?

Reminds me of Gamesville (the set and hosts)

Also why did they keep mentioning the PSP to me it seamed like the host in the black top was more interested in getting the conversation back to the PSP. Maybe its to do with the fact i do not know any German and PSP and Game Park were the only words i could understand :)
