Neogeo: Gngneo2x... How Do You Run It?

I believe it is command line only so you have to write scripts to load each rom. THere is a thread in the GP2X sections that explain how to do it.

I could not get this to run either, main problem for me was the docs were quite usless - no mention of what the bios files should be called - i found about 10 different ones on the net.

Besides, looks like neogeo runs the same speed in mame anyway.

That reminds me, I think the Wiki has better instructions for the emulator and you need around 10 bios files to run the emulator.

Also, if you see roms loading progress bars but return to the GP2X menu after the convert tile progress bar,

you probably have an incomplete BIOS. You should have the following files: 000-lo.lo, aes-bios, asia-s3.rom,

neodebug.bin, sfix.sfx, sm1.sm1, sp1.jipan.1024, sp-e.sp1, sp-j2.rom, sp-s2.sp1, sp-s.sp1, uni-bios.12,

usa_2slt.bin, vs-bios.rom, neo-geo.rom, ng-lo.rom, ng-sfix.rom, ng-sm1.rom in GnGeo2X's rom directory for a

complete bios and for GnGeo2X to work.

The wiki is not quite correct on that point. The only file gngeo need is:
sp-s2.sp1, 000-lo.lo, sfix.sfx, vs-bios.rom, usa_2slt.bin, sp-s.sp1
sp-j2.rom, sp-e.sp1, asia-s3.rom, sp1.jipan.1024

do you plan to implement a frontend?
a nice gui in an emulator is always good, besides its really practical. besides a rom-selector even to configure button-mappings, select cpu-speed, gamma-corrections and or stuff like that.

anyways, thanks for you work :)

Wow, thanks for the help! I really appreciate it (People here are so kind). B)
