Sorry if this has been asked before, but ive seen a few pics kicking around of an official gp2x case. Is this available yet? If so, where from? In the meantime though im looking for a decent hard case for my 2x, what do y'all recommend and what are you all currently using? At the moment i dont have any cases i can use for it, so i need to pick something up soon.

What I use for the time being is a generic GPA SP/DS case that’s designed to fit either one, buts its actually the PERFECT dimensions of the GP2x, so it works like a charm. :) The GP2x is fastened inside with 2 elastic nylon bands so its easy to slip in and out plus I can fit my batteries and headphones on the second compartment above where the system goes. It truly is ideal! :D Although this case is not a hard one so its not that sturdy but it does work rather well. It cost me around 9 USD.

That's the same case I use.

It's probably worth people knowing that the Gp32x is pretty much the same depth and width as the NDS (it only very slightly smaller), and it's maximum height (the part with the battery compartment) is the same as the maximum height of the NDS, so I think it should fit perfectly in any NDS case.

Looks pretty cool m8, thanks for the recommendation, im in the UK though. I should've mentioned that :)

aha, a DS hard case it is. Unless i can get that official gp2x one i saw (dont think it was a hard case), I'd like one tough enough to be able to just stick in a backpack without a second thought alongside other stuff that may press against it.

I have a nice looking and perfect fitting psp-case for my GP2X. :) (forgot the company name, though) Just look around in shops for gba- and/or psp-cases.

woolies have great PSP cases for a fiver which I use for my GP2x - okay so they have the buttons for PSP showing - but it fits very snuggly and I have not had any problems - I use my GPX daily on a 5 hour commute to work and back on the trains

5 Hour commute!? Holy crap thats a long journey! I bet your 2x is a godsend on a journey like that. I also travel on trains daily (unfortunately) and plan to use it a lot, but i have to be able to shove it in my bag quite quickly if need be so it needs to be a good reliable case. How can you be sure that these other cases will fit the gp2x before buying one?

the one from woolies is the same as official case - except no logo and the moulded buttons on top
trust me it works a treat

Put the GP2X in it and look if it fits. ;)

Er, ho ho, but i think the security in the shop might have something to say about it if i take one out the box an stick my gp2x in it to see if it fits first.

I've got an Asonishia Story GP32 case from GBAX, and the GP2X fits just fine, but because of the GP32's button layout, some of the buttons on the GP2X don't have holes. Also, it's a pain getting the GP2X in and out, as the elastic bit is quite tight. It also has a front pocket and space inside for two sets of batteries and another relatively flat accessory (such as headphones).
