I never owned a GP32 myself (or a Nomad, or a PDA, or a Zodiac, or an Exodus), and on a personal level I believe the Megadrive to be the greatest console of all time, so you can forgive me for being so eager to have all my favourite games in one little unit. From what I've read on these forums, Dr.MD is amazingly great and super-duper, so rest assured I'll be sending you a Christmas bonus as soon as I've had a few rounds of Rocket Knight Adventures :D

And there was me thinking I was the only person in Liverpool with a Gp32 & Gp2x :)
That means there are at least three! Seems I've never bothered to fill that bit in in my profile.

If you want to have to play the Mega Drive emulator right now and don't mind the odd bug, just send your donation to Reesey now and he'll give you a link to the current version. Just yesterday I was wowing new friends with Sonic on it, instantly giving them serious consideration of buying a GP2x and then trying to explain to them the concept of an emulator. The DrMD version I have may be a beta, but it's still damn, damn good.

Barnsey and Watto, if only I had a GP32, we could of actually had a use for the wireless transmitter :p

Now if you say the beta version is DAMN good, I may well give that a go. How do I go about doing that then?

The GP32 version was possibly the best Megadrive emulator I've ever used (yes, including the "official" one on Dreamcast!). The GP2X is said will be even better...

does anyone have reesy's correct email address?

i want to send a paypal donation for drMD

TwoHeadedBoy: a person after my own heart! sven hoek AND a love for megadrive! damn...

You can donate to Reesey through his paypal account at: drsms_reesy@yahoo.co.uk
Oh and just to let you know, while the emulator is damn, damn good, there's still a few bugs here and there.

It *is* damn good. And the weird thing is that it is running under linux  When he does his HH version it will be even better. It runs smoother than the GP32 version (just try vectorman) now which is saying alot as it was stunning on the GP32. There is the odd GUI bugs (hasn't been completely re-done for GP2X yet) and a vertical tile glitch on the right side of screen but those are pretty minor for an early beta. This will be the best emulator on the GP2X when released.

I wouldn't say its "weird" unexpected maybe, but not "weird". I for one am glad that we are seeing alot of games and emulators ported to the gp2x using the linux kernel. Sure it would run better in HH mode but (for right now at least) its easier to show off the gp2x's many perks without having to jump in and out of Linux to play a game.
:D

Doctor Medical Doctor is how I have always seen it... some sort of super doctor that healed the GP32.
