Gp2x Newsletter

I'd rather make a nice handwritten Newsletter than some freaky automated system that noone is going to use anyway. Let's just stick with good old 10 years old technology on this one... ;)

About the magazine: I'd write some articles. Any idea how we could make this a real printmag? An issue every two months would be enough...

i have thought about it a while,
we could do the following:

make 1 page with:

* all GP2X rss feeds available
* possibility for visitors to add news,
with short comments.

* possiblity to get this info by e-mail

----------- second -----------------------------------------------

A GP2x Monthly Mag would also be so nice.
I am willing to spend a few hours a month doing the layout and
placing the artikels, it's my dayjob, so that's oke.

We could start out with something simple, like one A4.
Just some interviews (with Anna? or Squidge?) and pictures,
just to get the hang of it.

Who can i write down to participate in this?

sounds like you want to make an GP2x Slashdot.

Since the system is just being set up: Who wants to help and really has got some time for it?
What I need:
-People to collect news who have the ability to comment on them with a few words
-People to translate the newsletter into other languages (German (I can help), Spanish, French, Korean?! :D , ...)

As I said, I would like to translate it to german. (and I have the time for it normally ;) )

I might be able to help with this. Just get it off the ground a bit or tell me how to help you get it off the ground, so to speak. I check gp32x every day. If I have time to post something on gp32x, I should certainly be able to collect some news and make comments on them. :)

I would be willing to help with the magazine. I could help write reviews for games and such. Just send me a PM whenever you want to put me to work, 'cause i might miss this thread (theres SOOOoo many new threads with all the new people here, its hard to read every single one like I used to...).

Do you want to help with the newsletter or only the magazine (which hasn't even been started, yet... ;) )?
well, i'd prefer the magazine, but I could help with both. I would really like to try out new games and then write previews/reviews/reactions on them. Just tell me what you need done and i'll try to do it.
