Hey, I've got an avi file which is dual-audio, Japanese and English dubbing and when I open VDub it has the japanese dubbing.

How do I switch this to the english dubbing?

I'm using VirtualDub Mod.

Thanks in advance

Are you sure it's an .avi and not .ogm or .mkv? (if avis now have multiple audio streams then ignore the following information)

If it is an avi then you may want to shut off either the left or right channel.

Yep its an avi and it is dual audio - could you explain what you mean by shutting off either the left or right channel as I can't seem to find any options to do that?

thx

Just to check, is it two seperate audiio streams or when you play it normally, you can hear both Japanese and English Dubs at the same time (like old VCDS?)

no they don't play at the same time, just the japanese dubbing - I used VLC player to check if it has both english and japanese dubbing though.

Come to think of it this might be a simpler question - is it possible to get the subtitles for the japanese dubbing in Vdub Mod?
