Who's Ordered An Xbox360?

I of course mean the x1,5, its just a joke.
Nothing that looks even a bit like nextgen, most games try to compensate that with totaly overdone bloom and cheapass effecs.
The console itself is totaly overpriced, and you even have to pay tons of $ for stuff that is standart at other consoles.
Also ms is constantly lieing, on e3 they sayd tons of things will be included, now they are optional and cost 20-50$.
I realy dont see a single reason for the x1.5 expect its launch date.

I got p!ssed off with slowdown In PES on the PS2 - so I sold it.

Well, I've played both the Xbox and PS2 versions of PES extensively and while the slowdown in the PS2 version is mildly irritating, the bugs in the Xbox version are just plain infuriating. I mean, it won't even allow you to play a two-player game if you're the away team. How monged up is that?

The slowdown ruins the game...however, although I have played PES4 on the PS2 loads, I made the decision after playing WE8 - which was far, far worse.

What other XBOX bugs?

You can play a two player game, it only happens if your first game in the tournament is away or you save and come back to an away game. It's annoying, but at least the game is playable.

I really dont understand why peope wont buy a console just because it's Microsoft.

i have an xbox, good system.

I am currently looking at both systems, i was going to preorder my 360 weeks ago.. but im not so sure, i am looking ps3/360 to see which is the best.

if the 360 had more storage for disks, like twice the amount of their current 9GB.. then id definatly go for it.

The xbox 1 was the most awful piece of dog crap ever to be created, and all it had gameswise was ea's rubbish and a truckload of boring FPS's, and it looked horrid.
And worst of all it was made by microsoft!
What is it with the XBOX 360's USB ports for the wired pads?

I assume it's so you can use your XBOX 360 pad on a PC and not standard USB perps on the XBOX 360?
It's so microsoft can shove a bog standard pc into a relatively small case and call it a new console, just like they did with the original.
360 is mostly custom made and the ps3 has more usb ports and supports 4 controllers via blue tooth and 3 more via USB!

See, there's the thing. It's not really playable, is it? Why should I be forced to play four games on the run in order for the main feature of the game (multiplayer) to fuction correctly? Who playtested that? It's just madness! Also the lack of eight player is really quite crap. And no, a shoddy online mode really doesn't make up for it - especially when you have no internet connection (the Xbox is at my brother's flat, incase you were wondering).

I really dont understand why peope wont buy a console just because it's Microsoft.

I don't understand why anyone would sell a console because they weren't happy with a single game, only to trade it in for a console that's home to a worse version of said game!

Gamecube was innovative? What was so innovative about it?

The whole i will never buy m$ argument has got a bit tired and same for the not buying sony one. Your just playing into brand loyalty (wheres the fun in that) which leads to people just swallowing hype as fact. It will be the same as always the consoles may match the pc market for a little while but a few months later and pc's will be considerably ahead. Xbox 360 and ps3 will both be dissapointing, neither capable of the insane claims they are trying to make. Nintendo revolution will be interesting with its controller especially if it works well. And the game cube was innovative as it was very difficult to pirate games for it hehe...

It is better on the XBOX though, No slowdown and no long loads, and shoddy as it may be...it still is Online play.

I also said this:

It meant waiting a little longer for certain games, but the improved graphics, loading times and features (like custom soundtracks), made the XBOX better than the PS2.

PES was the last staw, but the above clearly applied to all games.

But I don't want to get into a XBOX vs PS2 debate, I'll leve that for people who can be bothered.

I hope all the idiots that post crap like "I wouldn't buy that sh&t fromM$ are all writing that on Macs....!

Mac? I use linux :p , but am actually posting on windows xp because its actually my dads pc and he won't let me put linux on it for him. So i have first hand experience of the crap M$ puts out. And, from what i can tell, sony is heading the M$ route as well and i might have to stick with the revolution. I wish sega would make consoles again.....

I don't give a crap about principles, I just want good gaming.

Doesn't matter if it's from Micr$oft, $ony or Nint£ndo.

Well, the controller was really nice. ;) Much better than the others, at least, including Dreamcast's (although the only thing I didn't like about it was that when you pushed the analoque stick up your thumb would feel the edge of the pad - which happened quite a bit in Sonic).

I don't think I'm going to buy any next-gen console - I have friends for that, so I'll play it at their houses. :p I'm sticking with my GP2x.

Which is exactly why I'm not going to buy an Xbox 360
