I'd say no to that, as I'm accessing it directly happily enough.

Ah... :) Nice to hear that so early on.

Would love to hear some benchmark figures. :p (if there are any good benchmarks that could run using both CPU's together?)

Would it be a breach of the NDA to say you are under a NDA (this is a general question to the floor)?

edit: tsk, where are my manners.... Thanks Squidge :D

Telling people you're under a NDA isnt against the NDA as not answering a person's question should be evidence enough that you are under a NDA.

It is good to see boingboing have posted this blog however I would have liked an apology from them to be honest. Hopefully its not done too much damage to the GP2X' reputation and the 18 cancelled orders will be placed again thats if we still want those traitors back in the community... :p

I wouldn't worry and I am not worried. 18 orders mean squat and word of mouth will draw any of them back after the unit is released. Plus that means 18 more units for us ;) If this thing is as good as some of the coders have said then the real problem will be if GPH can make them fast enough :p

I think your right there, being an open (from the start) linux device, I think the user base for this device is going to be rather decent for a device from a small company. 18 misguided customers cancelling their orders is nothing to worry about...

As I mentioned in another thread, we are already getting retail requests from our customers here in Australia...

Is there a fresh link to the official GPH statement from Anna? The link earlier in this thread is broken.

Another ignorant newbie question: Who exactly is craig that makes him such an expert on the GP2X? Is he just an authorized distributor, a prolific hacker, or does he work with GPH or something?

I'm not asking because I doubt him, mind you. :) Everything I've seem from him suggests that he knows his stuff. ;) The reason I ask is because there's bashing of the GP2X on wikipedia claiming that Craig's statements about the DRM are "not official statements."

It has it's problems, but I dig my GP2X and I'm not going to see it needlessly torn down! :)

Craig runs gp2x.co.uk & gbax.co.uk, and is in very close relationship with GPH.

He can make them do things never thought possible ;)

So he actually works WITH them? Or is it more of an Input user whining + Apply Tech knowledge + filter stupidity -> suggest to GPH?

Put it this way, if he wants something doing, he first suggests it, and if no luck or he's unsatisfied with the result, then he flies over there and gives them a good kicking :)

Die thread die! *hits thread with spade*
I respect that thios topic is old but there is one thing i must say.

Did any1 else notice that ldpm regestered right after comitar.

comiter is member number 5621 and ldpm is 5622.

Kind of wierd dont u think.

They also registered on the same day.

Why would some1 do this. Dont ask me? But i just thought i would point it out. <_<
