Hi, Just bought a GP32 BLU brand new off Ebay. Managed to get DRMD running, excellent!!!! and very impressed with SNES Emu, wish it was a bit faster though. Also fGB32 is very good, wish it was full screen though!

Anyway I can't get Frodo to work properly, I downloaded the latest BLU compatible version but the screen goes wierd when I try to use it, any suggestions?

Was kinda looking forward to playing C64 games.

Hi there, try the latest versions of the emu's downloadable from the file archive. There is a full screen option on F day preview version of FGB32

Have fun :)

Welcome to the wonderful world of GP32!
I don't have a BLU so I can't help you with Frodo, although I can tell you it is very good with most games.
For fGB You just need to go to the video options (By pressing both the shoulder buttons and chosing video options) and you can choose various stretch screen options.

Are you sure you have a BLU+? You may have the original BLU, try downloading the other version of Frodo. In DrMD did you have to select a different lcd mode. If you did not then you have an original blu, if you did then you have a BLU+.

As far as I know all hardware should work with one or the other. Try the none-blu+ version.

I have tried both versions of Frodo and neither seems to work right.

What exactly do you mean by "goes weird" ? Do you mean white bars? Or do you mean a slight flicker in the background?

Be warned when the batteries go out it looks like your GP32 is busted. The screen will go white, the system will lock up or reset. Don't panic just replace/recharge the batteries.

The Frodo screen seems to be too big for the Gp32 screen if you know what I mean. I have tried both normal and BLU versions of Frodo.

Also what folder should I put games in? and what type should they be.

The GP32 version doesn't use the borders on the left or right sides for maximum screen resolution and compatibility. Very few games use that area to my knowledge, but that's why it seems that way. Many games still work properly, but I don't know about Pal format games. Might need a different setting for that.

A couple of my favorite games don't work at all for it and I've tried all the Blu+ versions available. I can only hope the next version might sort out these problems, if there is a next version.
