Gp2x: The Shame, For Those Who Speak French

Well for anyone interested, and though my french is kinda rusty, Il shall provide with a translation of the article, even though there isn't that much about it :p It's just plain sad.

I just translated it, I take no responsability for any mistakes or opinions stated here nor the translation :p

Translated article

"For sure, the Coreans are the kings of copy.
Here's the GPX2, which simply looks like a PSP only with a different design.
In fact, this PMP (Personal Media Player?) produced by Gamepark has everything to please (the users), OS Linux, 3.5" QVGA LCD screen, SD slot, USB 2.0, 64 Mb of memory, 32Mb of RAM memory, and compatibility with the formats: MPEG, MPEG-4, Dvix, XviD, WMV, MP3, OGG, and WMA!
Its autonomy is 8h in video mode and 14h in audio, simply using 2 AA batteries!
The big difference from the PSP is that this isn't a games console, at least quality games such as the ones on the Sony console.
Availability and price unknown, but I doubt we're ever going to see it in France... Too bad!"

The GP32 was technically the first partable game system with multimedia applications in the sense that you could watch movies and listen to music on it when you werent playing games. The PSP though probably not intentionally came later with pretty much the same idea.

They really didn't reserch before they wrote this. It's like a parent looking at a NeoGeo and saying "Hey, is that one of those Nintendos I hear so much about?"

Well I'm french, this is french language but it's belgium site !
*.be = belgium
*.fr = france

This article is very bad, write probably by a SONY-man :)

All handhelds look-a-like, why bother when the GPX2 gets released?

The GP32 looks like a GBA, the GBA looks like a NeoGeo-Pocket that looks like a GG or A-Lynx.

I think the GPX2 looks most like the GP32,
but the GPX2 will also be all other handhelds

my hair is exactly the same as my ass, only completely different.

Does either of those emulate PS?
both, but neither sound nor graphics nor the bios nor iso nor cdrom nor the processors nor the ram nor the chips... infact it's bugger all like a ps1...

My cats are very like a GPx2, just completely different. GPx2 is a copy of my cats! I will denunce them, I own my cats so they infringed the copyright laws. Those gamepark holdings guys are like all Coreans who know how to copy stuff so they are copying too, it's like China you know, those people born with that ability genetically. They are evil!

The GPX2 website has more detailed information. If you ask me, it looks real slick. But it looks like it's going to be pricey.. Not sure if I would consider buying one until the community picks up on it.
