Hi, Can anybody tell me how easy it is to replace the screen on an un-lit unit. Do you go in through the back only to have loads of springs fly out and disappear in to the shag-pile ultimately doomed to the hoover? Can it be replaced with normal perspex or do you really need a glass, anti-glare replacement part.
Cheers. <_<

If you mean the plastic protective screen then it's really easy, you just have to lever the grey surround off, then lift the screen out.

If you mean the actual LCD screen, then it's not much harder. You just need to take the GP32 apart, then take the motherboard out. The screen then simply unclips and comes off.

I'm sure there are guides for it somewhere.

where can you buy new LCD screens guys?
where ever gamepark got them :p

Im going to buy a glass screen soon

seems simple just de-sust teh room (after the shower or mist around the room) teh take the gray part off then the screen protector put new one in and stuff

If you want to replace only the plasticprotection of the screen, it is not necessary to buy a glass screen, i replaced it with some glass I took from (I don't know the english word) a frame for pictures and used a glass cutter. The only thing to be aware is, if you remove the grey frame that you don't damage the white case. That's tricky.
