The problem is that i have noticed after a while some things have started crashing unexpectedly.. Yes i use the same clockspeeds that used to work without problems.

The other day my sound went SCHHHHH like a radio interference noise but quite loud.. then it went away after a few seconds.

All i do to my GP is hit it on my hand to get the batteries out of the back.. cos its a pain to get them out..

Other than that, would taking it into a steamy bathroom do it? because i have done that a few times.. lol

Ya new batteries Or your gp could be like my old one (a very old NLU i purchased off ebay) ...

It was able to overclock up to 200 mhz without any problems at all, so i was having fun with my full speed mario world :p and all of a sudden the next day this crappy lil bugger wouldnt go past 160 hehe. alls i gotta say is good luck.

I also had some weird things, when I used full rechargebles my screen would get some weird stripes (only with 1 brand of batteries).

Your only problem is this "static interference" sound yes...? Maybe the dampness corroded a speaker membrane...
WHAT were you doing with your GP in the bathroom? Watching videos  (hehe)?

Oh, and btw, you should have posted into I need help... some people never learn.

I use the battery cover to lever the batteries out. Might be a safer method than the way you're doing it at the moment.

Open your gp32 case and put a fan on it, maybe you have some condensation in there from shower witn your gp32_console . Also, is the sound localized on just one speaker or both? Try disconnected one or the other and find out, maybe a bad speaker or the speaker plug just got BANGED loose.

Cheers! :p

Well, if it is condensation (I wouldn't bet on it), leaving it out in a dry place (not hot, NOT in the sun) for about a day will take care of that.

Well, I've also had this kind of problems (since I started using the pencil trick), but I only get it when my batteries are too low. When it happens my GP32 won't oc to 180mHz any more, but runs smoothly on 133mHz for about 30-40mins, and then same thing happens at 133mHz too.
It works great after replacing the batteries, though. So I wouldn't think the problem is anything else than that oc'ing need more battery power...

True.. but i wouldnt have thought it would gulp it all up within 40 mins  Maybe fully charged Higher Milliamp batteries will last alot longer. I think i will try pencil trick soon too :)

If your batteries are older, or you use Quickcharging a lot or if you have charged them before they were empty it could be that the recargeables are worn out. Buy new ones with high capacity, don´t quickcharge them and charge them only if they are empty.
