Pocket Music Gbc Music Tracker

The drums work fine when I run the rom in my emulator on my computer...

The synths work fine on fgb32, so let me try drums now...

Nope, drum kits do not work. :(

On other emulators on the computer, they work fine, so it's an emulator issue.

Yep, i also tried to run lsdj on my gp32 and if you ask me i would say it's useless here. I made alot of tracks with lsdj on a real gameboy and can compare it quite good.

First, the biggest problem is to work with it on my Blu+ as alot of functions need 'select' + up / down ....etc.
And always my screen turns off and on. That really suxx :-(
The next is of course that the Kit's doesn't work. But a real chiptuner doesn't need any drumkit ;-) So thats not a too big problem.
But in general it doesn't run smooth like i know it form the Gameboy. The sounds are not really smooth and also a bit clicky. And if i do some advanced effects, you really feel it that the timing is not right. So for me it's not a solution at all.

I really would love an own music sequencer software for the GP32 itself.
And if i would have the time and the skillz, i would do one...but for now, i ain't got no time and and not too much the skillz.

I will try out the new 'maxYMizer' tracker with Castaway the next days. Maybe it works fine. We'll see.

your right firestarter.. it doesn't seem to sound very good even through headphones.. has anyone tried any of the older GBC emu's?

PS: firestarter's website gives me head aches fromt he colors

I've always wanted to try the real actual tracker, but I never wanted to shell out the money, and I didn't want to pirate. Oh well. :)

Believe me, a music tracker for the GP32 really is on my todo list, but I won't get to it any time soon until I program the actual mixer, and then the playback routines, of which I'm not doing until I finish up my game I'm working on, which could take a while. Oh well. I hope someone finds something really good in the meantime. :)

well then drag.. get to work on that game so I can enjoy it while waiting for the tracker  jk.
