Ordered a BLU from Lik Sang a couple days ago... was just wondering what my chances are :D

So for all GP32 owners out there, unlit FLU and BLU, I'm primarily looking for everyone who has theirs unmodded... to get an idea how fast they usually can go. List which model you have and where you got it from, maybe when you got it as well.

Oh and for volt modded ones what the hell maybe some guys can list how fast theirs goes stably after the voltmod... might be interesting.

well actually I have used the search for a few things here and there and did see random posts in various threads, mentioning this subject, but saw no thread dedicated to it.

Ah well look I"m new here and every forum has a different 'tolerance level' to it... sorry I haven't figured out you guys' tolerance to repeat posts just yet. Guess I'm just a bit too excited about ordering a GP unit finally... so hanging out a bit too much on the forum the past couple days. Anyways I dont want to get off on the wrong foot so if posting this poll is a problem than I'm sorry and feel free to lock/delete it.

Yeah, there's next to no tolerance for such things around here. It's really kind of annoying... <_<

Why not? I know some unmodded GP32 flu's go to 200-220 Mhz without problems...

Ahem... 254 please :)

Not that I'd ever run it at that speed for more than a couple of minutes, but it does hit such heady heights without a mod. God knows how.

Hey, don't worry about it that much, there are much worse offenders of the repeat post kind around here, and I'm one of them. There's a few around here that will really have a grudge against you for starting topics about things already talked about but those guys come down on everyone equally and I sometimes think they only even still come on the boards to pick on the newbs. I personally think its great you finally decided to make your own thread and say hello... there are a few of us that try to be nice.... I was siding with the bad guys for a while (naming anyone who stepped out of line even a little a troll right away... as you can imagine that was making me friends around here quite quickly) now, I just try to talk to people the same as I would have a conversation with them in person, and I figure if anyone doesn't like it they can tell me and I'll just laugh at them.

My modded FLU is due to arrive tomorrow, I bought it off of one of the better known guru's on this board. He made three games and is even putting them on the smc for me which will be nice just in case it arrives while I'm at work, my gf will be able to bring it in to me and I'll be able to use it direct from shipping at work...lol. I know it goes at least 166 and he figures it will go much higher but has never tried it himself...

welcome to our lil club:)

I bought a "guaranteed" 166 BLU from GBAX.com. I don't think it's been modded in any way, just tested to make sure it OCs to 166.

Anywho ... it runs every app @166 with no problem.

It can go to 180, I only tested it on DRMD and The OC tester though, and 184 for about 15 seconds

my unmodded and unlit GP32 goes as far as ive ever tested it, thats 256+++

if anyone wants to mod that clockspeed program to go higher then i could find its limits :D

edit:actually, if i had the source i may be able to do this myself :)

Ur crazy. I think its possible personnaly if you attach a heatsink, And a custum made fan. But the baterys will die after an hour B)
