I've just flashed slubman's firmware as everyone says its great but now i can't connect to PC....it doesn't detect my USB anymore. i am using Win XP and i never had problems with PC Link. can anyone help?

Phodrive makes the gp look like a usb hard drive.
So dont use pc-link or gp manager. You might
not have the Windows driver library on your hard drive.
Try the add/remove hardware dialog and when it looks for
the drivers, put in your windows cd.

The procedure I use to connect my gp32 to the computer using phodrive is:

1: Open GP32 and choose pc-link
2: Wait 3 second for phodrive to load
3: Connect the GP32 to the computer using the USB cable.

This works for me. If I connect the gp32 before starting phodrive, Windows XP wont recongnize my GP32.

Also, the first time you will hook up your GP32 to your PC using phodrive, Windows XP will run the "I found a new peripheral... I need drivers!!!" sequence, be patient as it will find the GP32 USB drivers you downloaded and installed earlier ( I assume you did).

Actually windows XP should just see the GP32 as a standard mass storage device and not need any external drivers... I can connect my GP to my computer at work without problems for instance (and I don't even have the rights to install anything).
