Hi :)
Before my question, I have to say that English is not my first language, so sorry any mistake.

I received today my GP 32 BLU, and when I press the L button, it makes a big sound, but it doesn’t happen when I press the R button, does this happen with all GPs?

do both buttons work? if u want to check when you turn on the gp32 wait until u reach the option screen. (this screen has the play and pc-link option) then press L,R,R,L,R,R,L,L. just follow the instructions and press start+select to go to the next. hope that helps because as long as the l and r butttons work u shouldn't worry about them making noise.unless it i really annoying then I can't help u. hope that helps.

yes I don't have a screen shot to show u but if your R and L buttons don't show up on the screen when pressed. then u need to try the "ghetto" way. :)

so i didi the ghetto fix but i did it slightyl different and i took hq pix.

so i took out three screws(the three closest ones ot the r button. i onyl undid thoes three so would be evidence of tampering to void my almighty warrenty.) and pried it open slightly and jammed this tool i had lying around into this gap to hold it in place.

the r button and the metal clip thing that fell out resting nicly on the battery cover.

stick the metal clip thing with the imprinted "R" facing up into the green section. im not sure if this will come loose or not so i didn't apply any adheasive to it.
o snap! its my sexy thumb

then carefully jam the r button bakc into its proper place. close the system. screw it all back on. press r button. hear that? its the sound of victory!

looked like he put it in another plac form the pix i saw from azure. but it seemed to fit much better in the space i highlighted.

also that "L,R,R,L,R,R,L,L" didn't work even after the fix.

Do it slowly. If you miss or push a wrong button enter pc-link option , exit, & try again.
It works in my Gp32Blu.

As Vimacs said, that is where those metal thingies are already supposed to be, however, I just opened mine up and the "leg" of it that presses against the microswitch was bent up a bit too much... So I bent it down a little, stuck a folded up piece of paper behind it for extra support, and both the L and R are MUCH more responsive now. Before I had to push it down quite a way more, and even apply extra pressure for R to register... Sure helps a lot playing doom :D
Now the only odd thing is L makes a loud clicking noise while R is silent... but I can live with that :p

yeah i bent the round thing up more than the "stock height" was at. both are reasponsive and both make clicky noises.
