Any Regrets About Buying A Gp32

Do you sometime regret buying one, or feel that it was a stupid thing to spend $200+ on?

Likewise, had a Gp32 FLU, bought a Z, sold the Z, sold the Gp32 FLU, bought a Gp32 BLU. I was considering everything before getting Gp32, decided about getting NeoGeo pocket, then Gp32, and GBA were my choices. But in the end, the Gp32 was the only real choice, too bad I had in mind online capabilities and playable GBA emulator.

u ppl that voted yes are mad, best buy i ever made, i never get bored of it cus i can always put somthing new on it without spending nemore money :)

No way still use it heaps, got it at the end of 2003 and wow what a year 2004 has been for our little console.

I have only ever regretted buying the GameCube out of all my consoles. Anyone want it? I never use it...

hmmm, sorry to be offtopic but my nextdoor neighbour went to live in Australia with his family. After being in their highschool for a while he know loves fifty cent and he's a smooth dresser etc...
He keeps saying stuff is "heaps good", is this a popular saying in Australia?

Anyway, on the subject I've now sold my FLU to a friend to get a BLU. It's taking a while though...
Can't wait till it's hear, I've really missed my GP32, and with these new realeses (eg DrMD and GPCinema).
Can't wait!

Nope... but the word "heaps" does get used as illustrated by my post ;)

Different generations always come up with stupid sayings.
When I was at school we had "that is grouse" then "that is mad" then it changed to "that is sick" etc..

On the 50cent thing probably just the group of friends he has fallen in with... what was he into before? Barry Manilow? :p

back on topic: still no regrets :D

Don't regret it, mainly because of it's versatility, but rarely play it anymore. It's a very cool little machine that does LOTS of crap, though my r button is a bit dodgy :( Damn Gampark and their cheap ass build quality

@ Iorgy77- Same here, I too regret buying a gamecube, NEVER touch the damn thing

If that was true Gimp you wouldn't still be hanging out here ;)

not so

i'd say i use the forums far far far more than i use my gp32.

i was a lurker here for months before getting one, i will go days without touching my gp, but i'll visit here everyday.
Same here.... <that makes 4 of us I think>
I use my GP32 (properly, not just switching it on/off) about once per week, yet I go onto www.gp32x.de once a day.
;)

Don't regret it though, I like the constant flow of news in here and conversations etc...

It is real easy to fix the dodgy shoulder button. Just open it and bend out that little metal piece and it will be fine.

I dust off my Gamecube about once a year when a new Metroid comes out but don't use it much after that either.

I'm back and better

Why should I have any regrets, except Rico

I regret buying every gaming machine as i realise i couldve spent the money on something better

then i get that something better and the cycle repeats

in regards to gamecube, i do not regret buying it but i feel i would prefer an XboX

but then, if i got an xbox (for Halo and othe fps and Live) I would see a Ninty game and wish i had a gamecube

I dont like to own more than one console per generation as its a bit of a waste in my mind, unless they have COMPLETELY different game (like NeoGeo (which i regret selling, as i finally have enough money to buy games) and SNES)

There seems to be stuff that is more interesting to me for the Xbox (the Halos, Morrowind, NinjaGaiden, Fable, blah, blah) most stuff justs seems to look better, especially in component video. But then there is the ocasional Cube game like Metroid or the new Zelda (not the first Wind waker one with the gay link, that looked like shite) that will make me dust it off. That is why it is good to have more than one I guess.

I don't have any real regrets. I just wish I had asked for money for christmas and waited a few months for the BLUs to come out instead of getting a non-lit. I would use it way more if I bought myself new headphones (the old ones got stolen).
