I have just got a gp32 and am having varius different problems with pc-link and gp32 manager. I keep getting file transfer errors with larger files and the program freezing at 100% transfered. It also comes up with many unknown errors. I have checked and updated all my usb drivers so they should be fine. About the only thing i can do is format the SMC. I intend to flash it to see if that helps.

Thanks for any help.

hmm gpdrive totally wiped one of my smcs after a transfer... since no1 has that problem i guess there was something wrong with my computer. ya after that new service pack 2 update, my link havent worked at all so now i need a card reader... i found one that reads and writes 9 different types for $20 (yay)

Hull is something like Hogwarts, School Of Witchcraft and Wizardry.
You see, the gp32 is not a normal boys (and girls) toy, its got magic inside it..

Hey I studied at Hull Uni from 1997 to 2000.

I also lived at the Lawns, in Morgan Hall.

Best 3 years of my life! Not that I can remember much of it with all the booze I drank and weed I smoked!!

Hey I have a great idea! lets start a thread entitled " Hull University reunion", it will be cool!! LOL

I would highly recommend a card reader, I experienced similar problems with PC link and GPDrive. I eventually realised that I had my PC so stupidly overclocked that my USB transfer was a bit unstable. Both programs work fine now, but I still use the reader where possible cos its quicker.

(.... ahhhh University life..............)

Was that the crap one with the glass enclosed landings? (something to do with a sociology experiment from what I was told)

The whole Lawns Centre was built very wierdly, yeah all the buildings had glass enclosed landings. It also had strange humps in the field outside.

It had a good atmosphere. There was a bar on site which was rough as hell but sold cheap booze (which is all you really care about when you are a student). I lost count the number of pints of snake bite and black we used to consume each week!!

Those were the days.........

We used to link all our pcs together with ridiculously long network cables thrown over the balconies to the rooms below and play 20 player games on quake and counterstrike!

:D :D
