I need serious help, I'm absolutely stuck in Box level 73. I tried over and over but couldn't get through so I decided to cheat (I know, bad). I found a website with Sokoban solutions and found that the level they have there is one block wider so there is more space to move around. Now I'm not sure: is level 73 flawed or is it still possible to get through?

I already tried to contact iKi but haven't heard anything yet so I thought I'd just ask: has anyone made it through level 73 in Box?

 but since I'm an idiot too... and I'm stuck with level 73 too... could you give me an hint how to pass over?

I contacted iKi again and got a reply, level 73 should be playable so there is nothing wrong with Box it's just that I'm an idiot. I feel so much better now :)

It's been a while but I'll have a look, I have completed this level so it can be done (although I think I needed iKi's help ;))

<_< I'm not playing BOX but Sokoban Pro version 1.1.
any other version of the game have all one less wall box that allows the boxes to be feeded from the back... this in sokoban pro 1.1 is the only occurrence I know and you too were stuck at level 73.
I upgraded at 1.2
this level diappeared from all three, standard, world 1, and world 2 expansion sets... or at least it disappeared as far as I can check...
I start suspecting it has no solution at all.

If it is the exact same level it does have a solution, like I said in my previous message: I have completed it before.

:( ... not so sure anymore... version 1.2 has the same level 73... I'm stuck there as well...
Okay, my savegames were lost so it took me a while to get to level 73 again but this should get you out of that level if it is the same as in Box:

rrRuRDllluRdrruUruLrrrdLrddl
UrdddlUdllURdrruuuuulllddDuL
ruurrrddlLrruullldDldlluRRRu
urrrdddddllllUUddrrrruuuuull
lddLdlllluuruuurrrrrrrDDDDDu
uulllddldlluRuuRRddLruulldDl
dlluuruuurrrrrrrddlLLrrrddlL
LLrrrruuuuluurDDDDuuuRRR

l=left r=right u=up and d=down, capital letters means you are pushing a box (D=down, pushing a box). This doesn't end the level but moves all boxes in a free position with enough space to move around them and clear the level. Have fun :)

I loaded the level image in the avatar... so it's easier to explain... the point is that I already solved this level before in another Sokoban game (it was running from a 5.25" floppy drive of a PCjr ... it was early '80... processors were 8088 .. standard speed 4.7 Mhz)... :D what a nostalgia!
Anyhow... in that level... as well as in the level solutions you find in internet... the signed brick of the wall was missing! that allowed for feeding of boxes from the back and eventually solving the maze.
Also, I've been told of a software capable of analyzing a sokoban maze and tell if a solution exists... from a purely mathematical point of view! Does anybody know anything about that?

I like Clemmys version so much better, too, that retro palette is ultra cool, I played the game that way around 10 years back on an old 286, man that was cool!
