I find the GP32 a little too big. Well, what I want to know is how big is the mother board and the parts of the GP32 compared to the GP32 case(not the carrying case, just the case of the actual GP32) Is it a perfect fit? Is the GP32 case a little big for the GP32? I mean, when you put the motherboard and case togther, is there any gaps or spaces in between so you make a smaller case and it will make the GP32 appear smaller?

Thanks for any help.

The circuit board inside the GP32 is shaped to fit exactly inside the case. You won't be able to make it any smaller.

How were you intending to make a new case, anyway?

I see, well my hopes of a smaller GP32 will never exist, or so I think.

I was't exactly sure how I was oing to make a case. Hmm, maybe do something on the computer first, then start molding firing together stuff.

Well before I would've broken something, I just wanted to know if it was possible to make the case before I attempt to open it and risk damaging my GP32.

Looking towards the screen, the plan view is same shape as the case as said above, but in elevation there is quite a bit of space (think depth) this is because of the batteries, and there is a little gap at the front. If you could find a way to fit one of those thin batteries like minidisc players and walkmans have then there is no reason that you couldn't design a 'thinner' case.
Come to think of it the screen surround is excessively large and changing that would be a nice little mod.
If you are planning to use software to design a case I would advise Solidworks, it is perfect for the job.

Well, is there any free software to depict a 3d image of my hope to be future case? And, I need this program for mac, unless I can use my brother's PC. And, is there any picturs to show the depth of the circuit board comparing to the GP32 case?

Thanks,
