im goin on a trip in a little while and i got some music videos that i want on my GP32. i've followed a guide and im wondering how i can get the volume up to a decent level without making the file size too big.
thanks 4 any help. ;)

Volume normalize to 200~400%

Seems to work for me.
I use virtualdub MOD, which allows reading from VOBS and has a little different sound handling setup.

i tried to adjust the volume percentage to 400 but the quality of the music is lame. would it be better to use a seperate converter for the audio and then click the WAV audio in the audio menu to load the seperate audio file using virtualdub? if so what converter should i use?.

If you want to achieve good quality while normalizing, you can simply use mp3gain on the mp3 compressed file, it's a lossless program. If you want 4 times louder sound, just raise the volume by 6 dB.
[edit:]the name of the program is "mp3gain", not "mp3 gain".
