Hello helllo

I bought a GP32 FLU from www.Lik-Sang.com...

My GP32 FLU could overcclock to 220 mhz and I think it could overclock more....

But the strangest part is that it could overclock to 220 mhz out-the-box....

Thats strange..but I´m glad..because I don´t have to volt mod it....

Have any other person the same thing...

What do you think guys???????

There's a fair few people that can clock that high out of the box. In fact, I havn't heard of anyone that's had the volt mod done that can clock that high, only origional units.

I'm sure there are some obviously, just I havn't heard of em ^^.

Why....

I´m glad because I don´t have to pay a moder to do a voltmod for it...

Now I´m Waiting for applications who can do 220 mhz.....

I got a adapter to my gp32 so it ´s no problem....

Me too me too...

But we are lucky who can do 220 mhz.....

Same here... Standard GP32 Flu that OC's to 220MHZ (MAybe More) that I bought from Squidge :D

bah, mine (non flu, more than 2 years old) definitely can't get higher than 133Mhz for more than 5 seconds :/

hey pedrorist i would recommend to do the o/c mod ASAP or buy a new gp32 blu instead (166mhz is highest for most blus).
i think 133mhz just isnt enough....

you are a lucky one :)
I can too go up to 220 but with the OC mod
I hope too to see a 220 Osnes version :D

see you

Does any have some code to set the GP32 at 220mhz?

What are the available options?

question about OC
I think I read that arm cpu in gp32 maximum recommended clock (from samsung?) is 186mhz

So can overclocking more than 186mhz Risk damaging the cpu ?
I dont think the cpu has a heatsync so I was wondering dose the cpu in gp32 give off much heat ? is there risk of burnout when heavly overclocked ?

Finally Im just wondering how long the gp32 runs at 220mhz from batteries :D

at 220MHz the battery dont last very long but remember you can use an adapter...

fdave: I dont have the 220 settings but you can PM Mr Mirko to have it (he used 220MHz on his OC tester)

see you

You'll never guess what, yours might of came out of the box 220, but mine came out of the box 420, and it can play every single SNES game at perfect speed with sound, and inside there is a card reader that reads 1gb cards, and plays movies at 800x600 resolution. I got Tomb Raider running on my GP32 recently since the RAM out of the box was 1gb, it was totally amazing.

LOL
Anyway why is it this happens? Why are some different to others it's strange.

I used pllset and I think for 220MHz:
CPU speed: 00 EF 1C 0D
CPU param: 10 F0 02 00

see you

EDIT: that is strange...I tried with scummVM051 at 220 but it is not working...just rebooting
maybe another CPU param is better...I dont know

<arse> Just had to return my FLU - which did (I think) 180. And my replacement BLU will only do 166... <grr>...
