Thanks for the replies to my earlier question.

However, which files do I need to put on my SMC. The ones I think I need are more than can fit on the card.

Thanks

My Indiana Jones ist just 9.45 MB - that should fit on a SMC. Or is there a talkie version of Indy4???

Mine talks, but I'm sure I first played it without speech.

I know it's a lot to ask, but please could you type which files are in your folder.

Thanks very much.

ADLIB.IMS
ATLANTIS.000
ATLANTIS.001
ATLANTIS.EXE
ROLAND.IMS
SOUNBLAS.IMS
SPEAKER.IMS

ATLANTIS.001 is 9.26 MB and all files are 9.45 MB. I don't know if ATLANTIS.EXE is required but it doesn't take too much space :)

You don't need the EXE or IMS-files ;)
And: There is a talkie version of Indy4... but it's PRETTY RARE!
I've been looking for it desperately through the past years (the voice for Indy is actually Harrison Ford!!!)

It's not Harrison Ford, folks.

The Talkie version has one more file, which is MONSTER.SOU. Unfortunatelly, it's a 142mb file...

Nooooo....! Rare!? I had it years ago along with the talkie DOTT and Sam'n'Max, but I can't find ANY of them!!

Well, at least here in Germany it is pretty rare... it was never officially released.
But I read in a computer magazine that it features the original Indy-voice... I've never checked for myself, though.

But if anyone knows where to get it... would be nice letting me know :)

all of the SCUMM v4 & above games only need the .000 and .001 games to run. earlier game engines only need the datafiles (e.g. disc01.lec) to run. the scummvm homepage is a good place to check the version of the game you want to play.

remember, those extra meg of unneccesary files are space that could be used for more divx ;)

Does anyone know how to turn the Indy music off, it looks like it's killing my GP32, making some scenes unplayable. The cursor's very jerky.
Monkey Island is perfect except it halts for a couple of seconds every fifteen minutes or so. Is there a way to get the Monkey Island music onto the GP32? I've got the CD version so there was no way I could pull the music across, what with it being fully remastered audio tracks. I wouldn't mind the original music though...

there hasn't been an update to the SCUMMvm GP32 CVS tree for 2 months - and there hasn't been a release for 3 months (unfortunately that means we miss out on the fixed support for saving). turning the music off - well you could try looking in the "options" screen & turning it down to minimum. and the cd version? the current PC source of ScummVM allows for using MP3 audio to emulate CD versions of games, but i'm not sure how closely the GP32 source has kept up with this...

Nah, turning it down's just a volume control, it doesn't actually stop the software from loading the music, so I still get slowdown.
I heard about that MP3 thing too, but I'm sure the GP32 doesn't support it, U just want some nice midi to accompany the game!
