GP32 Gp32 Embedded Gui


I found Matchbox (http://matchbox.handhelds.org/) very promising, ofcourse I have no idea how hard it is to make this work for ARM, but I'm just suggesting :)

Btw:
This is going great! Chatboard support, soon joystick/mouse support. A full blown Linux with GUI isn't far off! (And then (maybe) mobile i-net :eek:) We're making GamePark's promises come through :D
 
The disadvantage of matchbox is that it's based on X. And X consumes memory. Lots of. Microwindows / Tiny-X might be the smarter appoach, since you can add an X-emulation layer. Even with this layer it's still consumes noteably less memory.

I agree. I can run Microwindows on a Palm IIIx with 8MB of RAM.

I wonder how much QNX XPhoton takes up... I know there is an ARM version of QNX floating around.
