Are GP32 users long time gamers?

Seems like I am also a veteran in here :)

Pong Clone -> Atari 2600 -> Ti 99/4A -> C-64 -> Amiga 500 -> PC 386/40 -> PC 486 DX 2/66 -> Pentium 1 100 -> Pentium 2 350 -> Athlon 900 -> Athlon 1800

I had one of those crappy orange button consoles from the 80s, I think it was a haminex something-a-rather. It played pong pretty good.

I didn't sink my teeth into gaming until I scored A C64, prior to that I had a VIC-20, but no software.....

along the way it's been mostly commodore, (a handful of c64s, amiga 500 / 1200, cd32) then a raft of PCs + a PSX.

When i got my gp, the first thing i loaded onto it (after freeloader) was frodo... just looking at that blue boot up screen was magic :))

1) around ´75 or ´76 Orange pong machine, with a white and blue rectangular button and two sliders for selecting wonderfull alternative games like: squash, soccer etc. That was a bit hit!
2) around ´81 or ´82 Philips videopac G7000, that broke and we got a replacement G7400 (Videopac+ compatible) which I stil have - working including my favourites videopac 38 "happelaar" en 39 "freedom fighters" amongst others. Played a lot on my friends 2600 and atari400.
3) ´82 or ´83 c64 & spectrum48k, one friend had a vectrex that I played a lot too.
and some other systems (MSX, Amiga, ST) & consoles after that.

In highschool whenever I had the chance a slipped into this amusement/birdpark where there was a little arcade hall. Played a lot of donkey kong, ms pacman, time pilot, gyruss (these I also had on my c64, almost arcade perfect those titles) amongst others.

Nextgen machines I own: Dreamcast, PS2. I must say I like the dreamcast games a little bitter: Jet Set Radio, Sonic Adventure 1 & 2, Shenmue 1 & 2, Dead or Alive 2, the Hilarious Typing of the Dead (keyboard) & House of the Dead lightgun game, and a lot of other titles that are now coming out on the Xbox.

I started with an GameBoy (yes, the old, grey, huge one :) ), switched to C64 and SNES before we got an Pentium 60 - and the GP32 is my first console since that

I had (in this order, and mostly not games consoles....)

- ZX81
- Sharp MZ700 (obscure!)
- Speccy +2
- C64 (same time)
- Amstrad CPC 464 (same time)
- Amiga 500
- Amiga 1200
- PeeCee
- Xbox

I think that's it....

Oh yeah, and an atari St for about a month :D

Ive been gaming my whole life. I dont remember my first console, but it might have been nes, since nes was released in the us in 1986, and I am 17 (do the math)
Now I play 3 main systems, Xbox Dreamcast, and Gamepark32.

Binatone Pong Machine
Atari 2600 Woody
ZX81
Started when I was 8.

Rubber Key Spectrum
<Gaming wilderness- nothing for a couple of years - you know - spent my time on girls and stuff>
Amiga 500
CD32
GameGear
3DO
Playstation
PC
PS2

I now have a reasonable collection including all of the above plus a large number of other consoles and computers, a full loft, empty wallet and an unhappy wife B)

atari 2600 6-switch woody---- still have to this day boxed in excellent condition.

BUT my first love was the zx spectrum, just wish i still had it, atleast i can play the games on my gp32 :D :D

Amstrad CPC - currently I have 2x464, 1x664, 2x6128
C64 - currently one
Gameboy - selled to my neighbour
SNES - one with just 10 games
PC - first one was a Pentium 90
Dreamcast - after Sega stopped to sell it, great console

i started at the age of 6. with the nes
then segas master system
megadrive snes
gamegear (im sad that i dont get a nemesis <_< )
dreamcast
and all other mainstream consoles :D

which ones don't u recognise?
The Sam Coupe for starters, what kind of name is that for a console?

Most of the 70s ones would obviously be a problem as I was only born in '82, maybe the Amiga was so good I din't pay much attention elsewhere!
