The mighty penguin cat
Here it is, a bunch of news about the EVE handheld. I don't know if you are interested in it, but I put it here anyway.
###
GiG,
It is S3/VIA brand. Integrated into the northbridge (CN400).
As for your question about the design....
The final Eve design actually consists of two parts: a screen unit and
a docking unit. The screen unit contains the CPU. The docking unit contains
batteries and the user interface. The device shown on our website is an
example of what a mated screen would look like to a standard video game
user interface docking unit. Because the device is a solid plastic
prototype, it's not very obvious that the two come apart; we're working
to correct that impression on the website.
Furthermore, the detachability means that the docking unit can (and some
versions will) have a joint in it that allows the screen to be flexed back
and forth. The flexible joint actually is an expensive feature, so we
leave it up to the user to decide if they want to pay for it or not. However,
flexible joint or not, the display is detachable and can be clipped onto
the docking unit so the whole assembly is flat and fits nicely within
a backpack, briefcase, or purse.
An additional feature this brings to users is that they can choose a
"docking unit" that is just a battery (no joystick, J-bend, etc), and
have a tablet-style portable media player if they so choose. Overall, this
design allows adult gamers to choose a user interface that fits their
hands comfortably--something that neither the PSP, DS, or GBA allows--
or make the portability compromise and choose a compact (but less ergonomic)
user interface if so desired.

Oh, what is the graphic chip brand? NVidia, ATI, Matrox, S3, Hamsters...? Here there are a lot of curious.
See ya

That's all.
I should ask about the CPU: an AMD would be great, but a problem for the batteries.
My god, it was in the wrong section! Hando, did you use your third eye?
