Interesting, btw, that GPDrive already allows long filenames to be copied over and back... I wonder if that bit could be taken forth from the driver and used. Somehow I doubt it...
GPDrive doesn't know (or care) what a filename is, never mind the type of filename.

Windows goes "Gimme this part of that storage thingy" and GPDrive goes "yep, ok, here ya go!".

A replacement fat driver would give you long filename support.

the main thing that i crave is save support
it is very difficult to play rpgs without them
otherwise this is one of the greats on gp32 now
 
has n e 1 got sonic spinball 2 work. 4 me it just freezes at the sega logo :(

Hi guys 1st things 1st can i just introduce myself. Im Jimmy lol and im now gp32 addict. Ive had my GP32 for over a year now i bought it directly from Craig because he lives round the corner lol. Ive been reading the forums for ages but have never joined untill now. You have no idea how much it means to me to have a Megedrive emu :eek: When it was 1st released is in total heaven then later on.............Dave ported it the my mobile phone too yes peeps Megadrive games on my Smartphone. Anyways ive broken my post cherry now so expect to see more of me. And once again THANKS DAVE BRAVO GOOD CHAP
