This is a new version of a text reader for the gp2x. The main new features are multilingual and skins support.
An extract from the readme.txt:
The main features of Xreader are:
- Reads text encoded as iso8859-1 and utf-8
- Simple formatting (margins, justification and indent).
- Can choose beetwen several fonts.
- List of recent files, remembering the last point of reading
- Multilingual
- Skinable interface
Install
----------
To install Xreader, simply copy the folder "xreader2b" to the memory card or to the nand. Then you will find two new items inside the Utility menu:
- xreader.gpu: That is the program
- xreader50.gpu: That is a script that launches the program at 50MHz (instead of the standard 200Mhz), saving batteries, although it is slower. You can edit this script and set the speed you like.
Usage
--------
In every menu it is written the function of every button. As a general rule, B is used to select and option and START to go back to the main menu.
When reading a text, the buttons are:
- X: Show or hide the status bar
- Up: Go up one line
- Down: Go down one line
- Left: go up one page
- Right, L or R: go down one page
- START: go to main menu
