Hi!
i'm pretty sure I saw something in a shop some time ago that gave devices with sd card slots wlan...
does anyone know something about those thingies and have any idea how hard it would be to get it to work with a gp2x? cause, well, just HEARING that it is running linux makes you beg for wlan... :)

There are also wifi usb cards and some are supported under the linux orinoco usb module. But they probably need powered usb so you probably need a powered hub as well (you can probably find small battery powered ones...

wifi usb is supported.. just look at the gp32linux project..
i was surfing the web one time with my gp32 (ok just a textbrowser :) )
it worked very well and the drivers are available. You just have to find a way to power this thing
