Dear Evildragon,
I recently found the subpixel hinting option in the fonts tab of the Xfce 4 appearance settings. It's really improved readability for small fonts, allowing me to increase the screen real estate by shrinking the fonts. However, I just want to make sure what the correct setting for the subpixel order is.
There are four options available: RGB, BGR, Vertical RGB and Vertical BGR. Currently the one that looks the best is Vertical RGB, but I wasn't sure so could you please clarify for me? Thanks very much
