It's early but it does show a lot of strength, plus they're saying it's technically more powerful than a PS2, so if it has games on the same level I doubt anyone will even bother with trying to make emmulators for it, they'll be too busy PLAYING it.
That and it is a closed system. It uses proprietary mini discs for media. So emulation is most likely a no-go on this system without major butchering.

I will buy one. But it won't replace my GP32. The thing to remember is that it will have the typical 3D games but a bit less flashy than Xbox and PS2 stuff. So most of the time if I want to play this type of game I will just play my Xbox. The GP32 to me is all about the retro stuff (emus), 2d homebrew games, and other unique "hacks" that other systems won't have for awhile.

Since the gametrac has no touch screen and a landscape orientation, much modification tp PPC emus would be needed.
