What Game Successors Would You Like To See To Run Natively On The Pand

Progress Quest 2

Now with 37% more numbers!

I was going to say that if you wanted to play old games, you should just play old games.

...I was going to say that, but instead I'll just say Master of Magic 2. Or FreeMoM or OpenMoM or whatever...the game is already great, it just needs to have bugs fixed and options balanced (and netplay added, and AI fixed...okay so "just" might not be the right word).

(I am aware that the GalCiv people are essentially making this game, but it will be too fancy for our humble hand-held, so I want a successor and that's that. )

Oh, and yesterday, another game came up in the all-too-common "Why the hell haven't there been any games like X made since X came out" conversation: Syndicate! (I had to describe the game to my friend, who had never heard of it before. I called it "the Shadowrun RTS." Fair?)

Syndicate, Cannon Fodder (aww, already said)

Transarctica!!!
That was a great game (at least in french).
You had to trade to make money, improve your train, getting new units.

Freespace, Privateer.
I miss my old space sims.

Cursader : No Remorse/Regret.
Played those games a lot.

"Diablo 2.5" or so. :D
Actualy something like Torchlight: http://www.torchlightgame.com/

I guess I wouldn't need any other games for months at my Pandora. ^^

Eschalon Book I and II would be an awesome addition to the catalog.

In case you weren't aware, Privateer had both an expansion and a complete sequel. There was plans for a fourth game (Privateer 3), but it was scrapped.

I'm not sure if this would be of interest, but I ran across a fan project a while ago that attempted to polish and add networked multiplayer to the original Master of Magic game. I don't think it's been worked on in quite some time, but perhaps someone could contact this guy about using his code for a Pandora port if they were interested?

I forgot one that I would like, "The 5th Coming", an upgrade from "The 4th Coming".

New Generation's "Corridors of Genon".
Except this time you could break door codes by actually touching the keypads onscreen.

Gets a bit frantic close to the center though, might end up with some damaged screens.

I actually own Privateer 2 : The Darkening and played Righteous Fire when my brother had the game.
There was also Cannon Fodder 2, Freespace 2 (and it's even opensource).
I just used the main title of those series, instead of using the last iteration of the name ;)

I'm sorry sir, you're no longer welcome in the facility. He meant it figuratively!

Sequel in name only. It retained none of the trappings of the Wing Commander universe, and was quite different in "feel" and storyline.

I miss my Centurion. Is it possible to run this game in DOSBox on the Pandora? Or is that too harsh for its processor?

How about river city ransom(nes)? Elite(bbcmicro)? Excite bike(nes)? ooooo how about Mule(loads of different computers and consoles)? or game and watch simulators?

Even though the sequel I want does not exist, there is a video.

(I'm not entirely sure what the story behind this video is, but I need it.)

That is pretty freaky  I had just started getting the road rash games for PSX so when I get my Pandora I can play them and while I was doing so I was thinking that they need to make a new one. I would love if this would be able to be made for the Pandora. :D

@GameMaster

Road Rash II on the Sega Megadrive is all you need from that series!

I'd love to see a "Sega Racing" compilation which featured all of the cars and tracks from Virtua Racing, Daytona and Sega Rally, plus all their (PRE PS3/360) console ports.

Failing that I'd really love to see a modernized Dizzy clone...
