It's more a meeting with party character then a stiff normal convention, there is even BBQ. Would be great to meet some of you guys there!

Anyway, why I'm asking... we'll have a GP32 there and I need some apps and stuff for it the fastest way. Unfortunately I'm not up-to-date which are the newest versions, so could you please tell me where to find the latest versions of...

* gpSCUMM
* a GOOD image views (one where you also can load images from another directory and won't only load 75% of all images)
* a good MP3 player
* perfect NES emulator
* best four free GP32 games

Thank you so much in advance!

IMHO you can't get better than GPFM. It's not an image-specific program, but it has great functionality and also acts as a file manager.

EDIT: You can download GPFM (along with a guide on how to use it) here: http://207.44.176.77/~admin28/gp32emu/faq/gpfm.htm

Use Little John for NES Emulator. Use the new MAD MP3 Player. Use some games found on gp32eu.com and Doom. Also you should use FGen32 with all the working with sound roms. And why not put a small high quality GPCinema movie on too while your at it?

For the newest released ScummVM (has OGG support but it's skippy in most games besides Loom...) I'd suggest going here for DJWillis' release :)

Aquafish's GP United Viewer is also a good pic viewer but I'm not sure about the compatibility and it always fits the pics onto the screen (so big pics like comics are unreadable)

GPMADMP3 by RobertJ is really good!

and finally I'd suggest ljgp v0.3 or v0.4 by yoyofr both are exceptional releases nes-wise ;)

Do you have a booth for the gp32 or something?

I'm the main organizer of this event, every handheld / console does have an own booth. There will be machines like 64DD, Virual Boy, Doctor V64, Panasonic Q, Dreamcast Karaoke Systems, Treamcasts, etc. and also one for the GP32.

I don't understand well, will there be a new Jaguar game presented ? :)

Yepp.

More than you imagine... ;)

I think the community is bigger than the GP32 one... Several commercial products are released each year, videogames events are organised worldwide, etc. The same for the Lynx, but in a little smaller way :)

(The CD32 was a good machine yes, but with with not much interest for people who already had an Amiga 1200)
