I don't know what to say about this thing.......

Uhh, it appears to have 92 GBA roms built in. And the ability to play GBA Carts to boot.

It also comes in red here: http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.25219

Here is some youtube videos of it:

And a system teardown:

Has anyone seen this thing before?

Just hope that Nintendo doesn't sue!

I bought a silver one from Dealextreme.

It is around 5-8% slower than a normal GBA. It plays regular GBA carts, but a bit slower. There are around 5 repeats with the 92 in-built games. Things like Advance Wars and Tetris Worlds play ok, but action games suffer from the slowdown. Also, my SuperCard SD does not work with this.

As far as clones go, it looks very impressive and almost functions like a real GBA SP.

Wow, I've seen a lot of clones but this one takes the cake for flipping off Nintendo. Same design, several included ROMs (and GBA BIOS), even labeled Gameboy Advance and has Nintendo written on it. Pretty awful. I think you'd be better off buying a real GBA SP and a flash cart if you want all those ROMs.

I wonder if they're using gutted GBA chipsets they got from somewhere and clocked it wrong. It's hard to believe that they can get the chip design down well enough to play all those games but then screw up the speed.

I do wonder what Nintendo could possibly think of this...

This thing looks cool but is too limited for my use. I would like to be able to load files, play MP3s and such.
The saving grace of my JXD 301 the fact that it still is a decent media player.
This thing seems to only be a slower GBASP clone with some built in ROMS.

It would be cool if someone made an 'open' hand held in that same GBA SP form-factor but with four face buttons.
