So I have the gp2x tv-out cable and i'm aware of the crappy connection etc.
When I use it I dont get a black screen like a lot of people have reported (usually due to the bad connection), I get a picture thats scrambled and in black and white.
I live in South Africa so I have to use PAL, which I have chosen in the TV-out options. I have tested the cable on two TVs one with a S-video input and my own (which only has a composite input but I used a S-video to composite converter).
I have checked the wiring of the tv-out cable and all seems to be in order according to the pinout diagram available on the gp2x wiki.
It looks like the gp2x is outputting a signal at the wrong frequency or something.
Is it possibly set to some korean frequency that differs to local or is it because the output has too high a resolution for both TVs?
Im totally at a loss here because no-one else seems to have the same problem in that im getting a picture but its scrambled.
Please help
