On most systems, Shift+DEL bypasses the trash. Try that.

Can you delete the folder on a different computer? I'm assuming it's on the SD. It's not a great solution, but if it's all you've got...

Edit: You could also try deleting it from the command line.

Does pressing shift and the del on yours work or just with stylus?

works fine every way for me, you could of course just use 'rm -f foo.extension' until someone moves the recycle bin, or better yet either disables it/changes just delete to permanently delete it

As gfrancisdev describes, you need to right-click the offending item, then move the mouse-pointer to highlight "Delete", *then* press and hold Shift, and click on "Delete" in the menu. It will then pop up a message to ask if you want to delete the item permanently, as this will cause it to bypass the trash bin. Obviously, you can release Shift once you see this.

(The traditional Linux Shift+Del for this action does not work on the Pandora at this time, unfortunately. Hopefully the trash bin will be moved soon.)

This issue has already been reported and needs to be fixed. No worries, it'll get addressed, eventually, hopefully.

We could just torch the trash bin. I have no use for it, other than giving my pinky a workout.
