I just got my GP32, and I'm having problems with it. I managed to get the PC link working, and I transferred a game over to the GPMM folder to test. I reset the GP32, and the game ran fine. So I reset the GP32 to transfer more things. It went straight into the game. I turned it off, removed the card, and turned it on again. This time it went to the menu. So I reinserted the card, went to PC link, and opened the PC app. This time, the PC app said there was a problem with the GP32, and it refused to access it. I have been trying over and over again, with no luck. What must I do?

I'm pretty sure you have to have the SMC in before you turn on the GP32. I may be wrong, but try that

Never mind, I just got to the menu, went to 'play', it went to a game select menu, I backed out of it, and everything was working again. Weird, but at least it's working.

Could a mod please close this now? Thanks :)

The PC link software is totally Schizophrenic

Yeah, lol. I think the problem occurs when I turn off the GP32 while it is loading a game.

But, despite the initial problems, I'm enjoying my new GP32, and have gone through two sets of batteries already - the second of which ran out just seconds after I had successfully flashed my GP32 with the slubman firmware  . Next time, I'll make sure I only flash while I have fresh batteries, like I'm meant to :)

Use Uniross 2300 rechargables. I got five hours non stop out of my gp32 on just two of these and I was overclocking as well!!

If you have only one executable on your SMC, it will auto-run that. You have to press some wonky key combination, or boot without an SMC, then insert an SMC.
