Here is Tagaini Jisho, a software to help learning Japanese.

This is a simple vanilla build of the software, using Qt5

The font is missing some glyphs, (for example, search for tomodachi and the entry for "Operation Tomodachi" will not render a very common glyph for "war". Does show up in the stroke order dialog though, and doesn't seem super-common, so it's not a major problem. Other than that, it appears to work fine!
 
It appears that I do not have the NAND space to install that font

Yeah, those fonts are huge. ptitseb has fixed it, but it is possible to just have a symlink in /usr/share/fonts/truetype if one can live with not being able to unmount the SD card.
 
Yeah, I did that an hour later, realized I have an SD card permanently mounted as my /home. And then I remembered that I got probably 20 GB worth of applications installed to "/" on my laptop that way...
