Last night i lied in the bed and listened to some mp3's on my gp32..
but i had to stay up to turn it off just before i fall asleep..

soo.. an mp3/ogg player which supports kinda standby mode which saves battery...
you can choose howlong you want to listen and when time is up it swichtes to standby mode..
would be nice to see that in yogg or the "european" mp3 player..

Actually, there is a IDLE mode and a STOP mode.
The STOP mode pretty much stops everything, all clocks etc.
(except the RTC clock ofcourse).

So writing some code that can enter/exit stop mode could be helpful.

oh, you mean shut off gp32 after a while due to your asleep and not listening!

get a wall adapter then get 1 of them timers which u plug into the wall so when it runs out of time it shows power off to the wall adapter plugged into it.

Best solution i could think of  B)

but if u do that remember to put the GP32 on the floor under your bed (So no one stands on it :D) incase a Animal or Human walks into the wire pulling your GP32 to its death :( hehe....

Stop mode thing would kick ass :D

What RTC?? Do you mean darkfader's RTC mod, or a clock that keeps counting the whole time the GP32 is on?

the RTC has it's own clock, and it would be dumb to turn it off aswell since you want to be able to wake up using a RTC alarm or smth.

The RTC does not have a battery of its own, so if you turn the power off it will stop.
