Afternoon all,

I am currently trawling through a lot of snes roms to find ones that run at a decent speed.

SoM - Very slow - but still playing it as it's a masterpiece
Chronotrigger - a lot better seems to run pretty well
Zelda - link to the past - Slow and seems darker than i remember
Harvest Moon - again a bit to slow to play through without getting frustrated.

I'm just about to try
Sunset riders
Mario Rpg
Mario Kart

We'll let u all know on these.

Cheers

Mooby

There was a topic devoted to this some time ago on the board... have a lok there for some games I discovered to run reasonably with or without sound (Lufia 2, Wario/Wario, Civilisation 1, and quite a few more)

The topic before on the subject of SNES games that run at good speeds for the GP32 was devoted to the SNES9XGP emulator made by Inteleco. This topic is on the GP32 SNES emulator called GPSNES or SnesEmu by the author Zardos Jones. So unless you have a private version of the SNES emulator by Zardos Jones you should not post anything about sound as the current public version does not have it implemented. Tobriand, i suggest you read topics before posting, as it would probably help your understanding.

And some news on speed of games for SnesEmu by ZJones:

-Megaman/Rockman X: 90-100% speed
-Megaman/Rockman 7: 95-100% speed
-Rockman 9/Rockman & Forte: ~100% speed
-Bomberman 5: ~90% speed
-Worms: ~90% speed
-Cybernator: ~100% speed
-Donkey Kong Country 2: 90-100% speed (and works fine as far as ive played :))
-Zelda BS (#1): 100% speed
-Samurai Showdown: 85-90% speed
-Killer Instinct: 85-100% speed

PS. All the games above do not use saves (ex. passwords, other) except for Rockman 9, Donkey Kong Country 2 and Zelda BS. :)
