Hi i just can't get those snaps to work (not to talk about artwork), i downloaded a pack, unzipped em (png-format), they match their specific rom, put them in the snap folder but they are not shown in the rom selection screen or anywhere else..any ideas?

I didn't think that Mame4all on the Wiz supported snaps at this stage...

It's something I would like to see though :)

What I want to know is what I should be looking for to get ROM compatability sorted out .. I can never figure it out, and half the ROMs of games I like to play don't work on this version .. ah well .. such is life ..

I had this same problem, my romset was for a different version of mame. Kept getting"required files are missing" errors.

There's rom conversion programs on the mame sites to make them compatible with different versions.
Not sure which one mame4all is based on though.

Sorry Tunee, i cant help you will you're snaps problem could you help me though, can you (or anyone else)try loading the rom weclemans and let me know if it loads with the wrong colours. I have posted this problem a couple of times on different topics but know one has got back to me its a little niggle but its buggin the hell out of me.

To get a full working set simply load up the DAT file that is included in the zip with CLRMAMEPRO here, http://mamedev.emulab.it/clrmamepro/download.htm there is a full guide how to do this and get a full mame4all set here, http://easyemu.mameworld.info/clrmameguide/clrmame-guide.html

As for the snaps, yes i agree, it does seem odd that there is a snaps folder in the zip, but it is not used
