Smc Trouble

Hey... interesting thread... ok here`s my woe`s..
Got a 128mb card from pcworld.. I`m using slubmans with my FLU..
formatted it.. says it has 1 bad blocks.. I copied a few things over.. rebooted and nothing.. if I take the card out it boots fine.. so I thought.. ok pcworld sold me a dodgy card.. got it replaced today... formatted it in the software... ( on the gp32 ) same thing ( 1 bad blocks ) threw a few things into the gpmm dir... all done.. pressed select like it asks you.. and rebooted.. nothing.. once again, if I take the card out it boots, put it in and nothing.. do I need to get one of these card readers? and this smcrecover tool to fix it ??
thanks in advance..

:( :(
