I believe sukhiextreme bought his Pandora on eBay, so I don't know what sort of coverage he'll be able to get here. Regardless, I'm going to move this to the Support section - someone else who encountered that issue might know something.

Quite right Prometheus.

Sukhi, what exactly is the problem?

  • Does the card work when inserted or not?
  • Does the card not eject when you try to remove it?
  • Are you even able to insert an SD card correctly into the slot?

A little more info is needed before we can try and establish a solution for you.

When i insert the card it doesn't recognises it,because the card got stuck and i pulled it out really hard.

Did the slot recognise the card when you first put it in? Before you forcibly pulled it out?

Then gfrancisdev is almost certainly right.

Also, there are a number of threads you could have searched for regarding sticking SD slots where I've explained that I had that issue and I solved it by pushing the card in on the left hand side. But it sounds like you may be a bit past that now I'm afraid.

you're supposed to push the card in to get it out anyways, some slots will lock the card in so it physically can't be pulled out in this manner, not sure about the pandas ones :p

Yep, they lock.

Mine stuck, but with a bit of perseverance it's possible to get them ejecting nicely.

Well i spoke to openpandora in uk,i told them the problem, they said some pandora had some issues with early system with the card slots.

The person said get the order no. from the person i bought the system from and then i got the no. and gave told the info and found out the system was bought this year, then the person said i will phone up craig to see what he says, then i got phone call in few minutes and person said it's under warranty,we can repair for you and said write to openpandora to about the problem and ask for form to be sent as an attachment, then i did that in few minutes i got an replay from openpandora with form sent through attachment now just need to fill it in and send it with pandora console.

I got mine in March as a premium order and had the initial issue with the SD card sticking in slot 2. Like I said, a little perseverance and it works fine now without needing to go back.

A search of the forums and you would have found information about how to solve it before forcibly pulling the card out. You'd have avoided having to return it for repair.

Rule of thumb: Search the forums.

Sony's right though, isn't that great customer service?
