Still Fresh
I've seen that Toys4Boys makes serial cables, Bluetooth adapters, and GPS receivers for the GP32. What I don't see is anyone mentioning using any of these for anything useful(except for DAQ of course). I don't recall where I read it, but I recall some mention about it being possible to operate the usb port of the GP32 in host mode as well.
Personally, I would love to see the USB Host thing a reality, as I can think of many unusual applications for that feature (not the least of which would be greater storage).
It also would not hurt to have some type of capability to talk to serial devices like NEMA-compatible GPS recievers. I've got an aquaintance who might be talked into porting his Beeline Geo-caching application to the GP32, but only if GPS becomes more popular among the userbase.
Anyone care to comment?
