Has anyone had any luck saving in the NES emulator? I have tried and it seems to not do anything. Startropics says that it is saving the game, but then I start the emulator again and my saved game is gone.

Edit:

It seems to be the NES emulator that is not saving my games. I have now succesfully saved and loaded a Quake game. No such luck with Startropics on the NES. It lets me input my name and then saves as I enter the first dungeon. However, if I then exit the emulator and load it up again, there is no record of my having entered my name into the game.

I thought at first it wasn't writing to the SD card, but that is not the case as saving in Quake works wonderfully.

I enjoyed my Hanjuku Eiyuu (Soft-boiled hero  from Square soft) with the nes emu, and it seems just fine.
(Well, I didn't try it on the newest version, but I guess it also works)

Remember, you do not turn off your machine after exit the game.
(Do sync, or read another file might help for write your save in cache)

And, I found the save directory was added (The old version save data on the same directory where roms are)
