Hi all,

Got my wiz a couple of days ago and have got all the emulators setup so now it's time to play!. I noticed there is a Sam Coupe Emulator for the gp2x which doesn't seem to have been ported to the wiz yet.

I've done a lot of coding before on many different platforms, pc, win mobile, android etc. What things need changing to port a gp2x emu over the wiz. Only after a high level overview. I think i read that the screen needs rotating as the wiz is 240x320 compared to 320x240 or something?

Is this something you can do with general programming knowledge or do I need to learn about the gp2x and wiz a bit more first?

Thanks, Matt.

I've been wondering the same thing for MESS (for Apple IIe emulation). There is an official SDK from GPH that uses Codeblocks as an IDE, and has a simple example out of the box (display an image with SDL). I suppose you could try setting that up first, which ensures that you have all the proper libraries to compile on both the Wiz and Windows.
