This probably doesn't qualify as a "cool idea", but what about removing the protective screen cover from the gp32 nlu alltogether?!
Why would I want to do that? Well... I've got a nonlit gp32 wich is fine except for the annoying reflexes from the plastic screen cover. On top of that it's real hard to remove fingerprints from it. So here's my radical idea: What about removing the cover alltogether. This doesn't make sense on the flu or blu, but I think it would be a major improvement on the nlu (Also its a bit more expendable).
What about the lcd. How sensitive is it? Is it easy to scratch? Can it be wiped off without damage?
Is it easy to remove the cover? Could anyone point me to some instructions on the topic?
I think this cool mod should be named gp32 tlu (TopLessUnit)
I'm sure many nlu owners have had the same idea but lacked the guts to try it. But aslong as i'm careful and store i its case when not using it I shold be ok, right... right?

I was hooked on the word topless..

seriously though..
the lcd WOULD scrach REALLY easily

you could take it off and then put something else on it though
such as:
- glass screen mod
- a new plastic cover (I think some sites used to sell these)
- A CD Jewel Case (I think someone on here tries that already but I can't remember)
- What ever else you can think of...

... I'll see if I can find that jewel case one...
