Purple screen on second hand pandora

I have been sitting in craigs cue for years. i finally broke down and purchased a second hand pandora, its a "classic" edition. after a few weeks the screen started going purple. i know about the ribbon cable issue.

can i upgrade to the newest model with a second hand pandora? or am i stuck ordering parts?

You can upgrade or get it repaired, it's up to you.

When we're doing the upgrade, we'll replace old LCD Cables anyways, so no additional costs here
