AC adaptor means it doesnt mean crap :)
Ac adaptor means its not portable.

duh?

i dont get why people get so hung up on this, portability is a FEATURE, just because something is portable, doesnt mean you aren't allowed to use it in a non-portable fashion.

ok, some people bought it because they need something to do while stuck in traffic, i dont know, but i bought it so i could have a handheld console which plays retro games from my favourite past consoles, and i use it mostly sitting in my room, so i dont really care if theres a wire or two coming off it.

Both CPUs means shorter battery life.
I get 2hrs 25 minutes video playback with my 2000 mAH Rechargables. Doesn't the video use both CPUs?

Maybe (I think you're right, actually), but I think that's what Jarska333 was implying. Especially if they were both overclocked.

Isn't the 2nd core still always on or did they change that already?

It'll get fullspeed I think, or at least playable with minnimum annoyance, there's been remarkable progress already in a relatively short amount of time. Battery consumption is an issue. though future firmwares will at least add some extra time we're lead to believe.

Anyway, I totally recommend Persona II, a wonderful RPG which is actually set in modern Earth.

Suikoden series is a favourate as well

raystorm!

shooters are so much fun in super slow motion (for at least the first two hours). I only wish the enemies spit out more bullets to dodge. any insane shooter recommendations?

something like gigawing...which unfortunatly never made this system.

yep, it's nice, but too fast. I want matrix-style *super* slow motion so I can be dodging impossible attacks I could never pull off in the arcade. It must have taken me a 25 minutes to beat raystorm's level one boss--and I wasn't missing him! Real time I bet I had him dead in under a minute.

I had three 14-hit swarm attacks on the level two boss before it even made it off the runway. and then I got very bored.

frameskip? who needs it? I'll just play harder games.

Oddworld: Abe's Odysee and Abe's Exodus, were beautiful 2D platformers and very playable.
