Small correction, it maybe does not work at all on your device. To further investigate that matter:It menas hte the mini USB DOES NOT WORK AT ALL ( I dont know what for you put that since you could have saved some space
to make a decent usb one)
- do you have another cable to connect it to the OTG Port ? There are several reports on the boards that not all cables work.
- did you try connecting the Pandora to a host via the OTG Port ? If so does the Pandora start charging after you plugged it in ? Does mass storage mode work ?
Please do these test using the stock firmware to eliminate possible problems with your Pandebian installation.
Regarding the ARM build of Debian squeeze: There is a high possiblity that I mix things up here, but afaik Yes, but the sgx driver won't work as Debian ARm is built with Hardfloat support while there is only a SGX driver with softloat support available right now => see here.
Having no graphics is not that much problem for me since all my apps are cli for pim on ncurses.
X11 might be on sgx, but why not installing SDL. Actually lot of machines ARM run simply SDL.I have to look at this maybe.
For me, the most important, is to code and to have an USB that is working with ANY possible keyboards. So the Debian image kernel might be the best of the best for that, since they had all possible into it.
However, would you have a better pandora kernel than the one delivered with the machine? I would like to use it as boot/uImage-4 and to create a /lib/modules/3.x.x... ?
Yours Sincerely
